I grew up in Padova, a city in the northeast of Italy. During my teenage years, I experienced my first real sense of freedom riding a skateboard. Whenever I got hurt, I would pick up my camera and spend the afternoons photographing my friends. For the first time, I could create something out of nothing — without hurting myself.

I continued my path in photography at the Institute of Photography and Visual Arts in Padua and, after graduating, I collaborated with Oliviero Toscani's La Sterpaia creative agency. After two years, I moved to London as a freelance and then to Milan, where I worked with Giovanni Gastel.

I'm currently working between Milan and Padova.
